About the role:

This is a pivotal role within Production, reporting directly to the Production Manager and working closely with Engineering and Supply Chain. You'll be responsible for the policing of key information within our ERP system to ensure smooth transition of an order from order processing through to despatch, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and run weekly production meetings
  • Maintain correct dates on ERP system to drive MRP
  • Review and correct production hours bookings
  • Report and review daily/weekly/monthly KPIs on manufacturing performance
  • Create and schedule works orders with input from Production, Engineering & Purchasing
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain adequate levels of lineside and finished goods inventory
  • Liaise with Purchasing, Engineering and QA departments to resolve logistic issues affecting output
  • Carry out general administration duties as directed by the Production Manager

What's important to us:

  • At least three years' experience within a manufacturing environment (Desirable)
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical fitting (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP system
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to use MS Office (including Power BI)
  • Confident working with individuals at all levels of organisation
