Our client a market leader and award-winning business are looking for a Senior Administrator to support in small well-established and friendly team on a fixed term 2 years contract. Working in a collaborative and fun environment, you will become an integral member of the Planning team.

JOB TITLE: Senior Administrator

JOB TYPE: 2 year Fixed Term Contract, Full Time

SALARY: £30,000 - £32,000

BENEFITS: 28 days plus bank holidays, Company performance based bonus (2.5%), free parking, contributory Health Cash Plan and much more.

About the role:

  • Ensure customer service meets our client's customers' requirements by achieving product availability and lead time targets.
  • Transfer sales orders onto spreadsheets to facilitate stock management and customer service.
  • Maintain spreadsheets throughout the order process to provide accurate data for stock management and customer service.
  • Liaise with 3PL providers to communicate customer delivery requirements, stock movement, and inbound deliveries.
  • Act as a point of contact for suppliers to expedite and prioritise orders.
  • Process stock movement instructions between 3PL's to meet customer requirements and optimise transport costs.
  • Maintain and update end-of-life and excess items through the inventory disposal process.
  • Provide reports on supply chain operations as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Support our client's sustainability initiatives.

Experience, knowledge and skills required:

  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of stock management and supply chain processes desirable.
