They have offices across the world and are seeking an Airfreight Operations Specialist to join the Hounslow offices.
Actively seeking an airfreight operations specialist who strives to deliver high quality outcomes and is looking for a new opportunity, with a view to grow in the company. Their operations staff, control shipments from door to door during import and export air freight procedures. They need operations staff who are positive, motivated and want to be part of a specialised team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists.
**Airfreight Operations Specialist
Position Overview
- Managing agents and customers directly.
- Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.
- Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.
- Making export airline bookings with airlines.
- Tracking shipments and providing updates.
- Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
- Collection and delivery of freight
- Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing and other tasks from time to time.
- Handling/Lifting packages up to 30kg
**Airfreight Operations Specialist
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of Airfreight Operations with a Freight Forwarder.
- DG accredited would be an advantage.
- Computer literacy MS Word, MS Excel and Gmail.
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.
**Airfreight Operations Specialist
Position Remuneration
- 8 Hours Shift - Mon - Friday
- Driver's license (Required)
- £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
