Facilities Manager required in Stockley Park. Daily rate of £173 - £211. Monday to Friday role, 37.5 hours per week.
Overview and Job purpose
- Manage In-House staff & Contracted Site Facilities & Service Providers to agreed KPI & SLA measures, budget and compliance requirements, for M&E (Mechanical & Engineering), Cleaning, Catering, Security, Waste, Pest Control
- Assisting DRO in delivering a first-class service for Operations and Facilities.
- Supporting all aspects of building management administration which incorporates lease / legal compliance, and FM of both Hard and Soft services.
- To provide on-call, emergency response/keyholder to out of hours issues
- Focussed on delivering efficiency savings in service contracts, energy and water use
- Assist and control costs in the Operations and Facilities department within agreed budget
- Raising Purchase Orders, invoices and working with accounts payable
- Responsibility for monitoring building management systems (i.e., BMS)
- Assisting Procurement in negotiation of terms of business for all suppliers and contractors
- Collation and production of relevant data to produce monthly reports.
- Hold and set agenda for monthly meetings with Facilities, Operations & EHS staff & DRO
- To drive ongoing cost reduction & cost savings by spend analysis- COVI (Cost Out Value In)
- Ensure the Facilities "live" Tracker is managed to KPI standards
Manage and ensure compliance to EHS and Fire Risk Assessments
- Leading on Key Office Projects including management, coordination and delivery of all Facilities-related workstreams
- Responsibility for Corporate Security both at Stockley Park and Coleford
- Assistance with certain company insurance-related activities
Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Proven experience in managing or supervising a facility or business premises.
- Desirable - FM accreditation HND/degree in facilities management, IFMA/RICS or IWFM (BIFM) or equivalent
- Desirable - NEBOSH certification/ National General Certificate qualified
- IOSH Certification in Health and Safety in the work place
- First Aid / Fire Marshall Certification
- Proven experience in BMS systems
- Certificate in Legionella L8 desirable
- Basic qualification in Corporate Security
Key Competencies and skills
- Experience of Building & Services management preferable
- Facilities Supervisory/Management experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and 'client relationship' skills
- Financial/Budget experience & reporting via MS Excel
- Highly organised and proactive - used to operating in a busy environment with 'interruptions' and changing priorities e.g. due to visitors and staff requests.
- Proven Experience in service delivery, service level focus and achieving goals
- Desirable - Experience in organising tenders/procedures
- Supplier negotiation skills.
- IT Experience - Skills in Microsoft office applications - Word, Excel, Power Point proficiency
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to carryout minor maintenance repairs. (COVI)
- Project management and coordination of key office and facilities-related projects
