We are currently seeking a
School Cook
to join a specialist school based in Reading, Berkshire
The role:
As
School Cook
your role will be to provide good quality food, for a range of dietary needs, using fresh ingredients. The role will deliver an effective catering service with a dynamic approach to continually strive to improve the catering with new initiatives and menu ideas and distilling an enthusiasm for cooking and eating well in others.
Experience /Qualifications:
- Relevant knowledge of regulations and standards for the catering environment.
- Key aspects of Health and Safety legislation.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with special diets and allergens
- A passion for creating healthy home cooked foods with experience of cooking with a wide range of ingredients.
