Henderson Brown is delighted to be working with one of our clients in the FMCG sector, who are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-week basis to provide cover. This role has the potential to extend to a 6-month duration.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical machinery
- Working knowledge of conveyor belts and packaging systems
- Work alongside the other engineers to perform appropriate duties
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is operating effectively
- Record and report any faults identified and solve these effectively
Requirements:
- An Engineering relevant qualification
- Experience with a manufacturing environment previously, maintaining standard industry machinery
- Have great communication skills and a strong work ethic
The shift pattern is a 48-hour working week, with Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm, and Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 7pm. If this position would be of interest, the first step would be to apply.
