This independent, specialist day school in Bracknell is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Bracknell:

  • You will support the teachers and therapists in delivering the curriculum and meeting the individual needs of the pupils.
  • You will work with small groups or one-to-one, depending on the needs of the pupils.
  • You will also assist with the pastoral care and behaviour management of the pupils, as well as supporting their social and emotional development.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health, and Speech, Language and Communication Needs
