If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Mental Health Support Worker. Join our client on a contract basis and make a meaningful impact to the lives of those within
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to individuals with mental health conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement support plans
- Empower clients to achieve their personal goals and promote independence and well-being.
- Maximise income for service users.
- Regularly review support plans and risk assessments.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in a similar support role within a mental health or social care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- An understanding of support needs and support planning.
- Experience of risk assessing and risk management.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of clients
- A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to providing support
- Understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Certification in Mental Health First Aid or relevant training
- Valid DBS clearance and professional registration (if applicable)
