Our client are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Engineer to lead Quality and Compliance for the business, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance
- Implementing QA processes and procedures
- Conducting inspections and audits of manufacturing processes
- Investigate quality issues
Regulatory Compliance
- Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations
- Ensure products are safely labelled
- Maintaining documentation for audits
Continuous Improvement
- Analyse data and reports to identify areas of improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and best practices
Supplier Quality Management
- Evaluate quality standards and regulatory compliance of suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits
Key Attributes
- Experience working in Quality, dealing with small retail/electronic products
- Experience working with UK and SE Asia manufacturers
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including CE and Packaging Regulations
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
