Quality & Compliance Engineer

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality and Compliance Engineer to lead Quality and Compliance for the business, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance

  • Implementing QA processes and procedures
  • Conducting inspections and audits of manufacturing processes
  • Investigate quality issues

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations
  • Ensure products are safely labelled
  • Maintaining documentation for audits

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyse data and reports to identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and best practices

Supplier Quality Management

  • Evaluate quality standards and regulatory compliance of suppliers
  • Conduct supplier audits

Key Attributes

  • Experience working in Quality, dealing with small retail/electronic products
  • Experience working with UK and SE Asia manufacturers
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including CE and Packaging Regulations
  • Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE) or similar is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
