As a Project Manager within the IT Services team, your responsibility is to oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects across the team's various technical practices spanning Infrastructure, End User Computing, Cloud services, Office 365, MDM and Security.

You will work closely with a highly skilled team to deliver a range of projects and programmes of work to our customer base. These projects will vary in size and complexity.

You will effectively monitor, control and report project risks and issues, and take appropriate actions to keep projects on track. You will provide expert stakeholder management and possess both excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This teams Project Managers need to demonstrate a flexible, autonomous approach, and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce high-quality project initiation documentation
  • Creation of project plans
  • Compilation of project reports and management of issues
  • Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of project progress
  • Co-ordination of internal technical resources and some external vendors and subcontractors
  • Management of multiple customer projects and programmes of work simultaneously
  • Enforcing processes, methodology and standards
  • Regularly lead customer meetings and present updates
  • Support objectives as defined in the company's information security policy
  • Perform your tasks in support of data and information security

  • Understanding of Sales lifecycle
  • Excellent people management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent skills with core Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of PRINCE2 Project Management procedures and processes
  • Some experience of managing IT projects is desirable
  • Experience working within an IT Services environment is beneficial
