Calibration Engineer required for my client who work within instrumentation equipment and metals, based in Crawley, West Sussex.
The calibration engineer will support the applications engineer at the company in the modifying and developing of calibrations for existing products and offer support when working on new products.
Calibration Engineer Position Overview
- Working in conjunction with the Production Team by helping with calibration on existing instruments during busy periods.
- Calibrating the instruments using the company's software, adjusting machines to ensure precision settings, documenting results and preparing technical reports.
- Sample handling and cleaning (using lathe and linisher).
- Plan and perform accurate calibration projects.
- Record calibrations performed on equipment.
- Work to ISO 9001: 2015 standard.
- Provide support during Customer/Engineer/Distributor operational training.
- When required, support other areas of the business when and where the need arises as directed by senior management.
Calibration Engineer Position Requirements
- Education within engineering - preferably instrumentation.
- 2 years' experience working in a similar job / field of engineering.
- Experience working with analytical instrumentation.
- Based within a commutable distance of Crawley, West Sussex.
- Full UK driving licence.
Calibration Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary - £30,000 to £34,000 (DOE).
- Full time position - Monday to Friday (Office based).
- Holiday package - 25 days + bank holidays.
