My client within Investment Banking is looking for a Java developer to join their team.
The role will be working within a critical project on the development of applications.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Java with proficiency in object-oriented design principles
- Familiaritywith Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience
This is a 6-month rolling contract paying £600-700p/d via Umbrella.
This role requires 5 days per week in the Birmingham office.
