Our client, is a leading provider of exceptional gardening and landscaping services. They are committed to enhancing the natural beauty of outdoor spaces through sustainable and innovative practices. Known for their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction, that is looking for a talented Gardener to join their dynamic team. They are looking for a gardener to join on a temporary basis working 40 hours per week with the opportunity to go permanent.
What Does the Role Entail?
As a Gardener you will be responsible for:
- Planting, watering, pruning, and maintaining a variety of plants, trees, and shrubs.
- Mowing, edging, and fertilising lawns.
- Identifying and controlling pests and plant diseases.
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Conducting seasonal landscape cleanups, including leaf and debris removal.
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
- Designing and implementing new garden features and plant layouts.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
What Skills Will You Have?
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of plant care, landscape maintenance, and horticultural techniques.
- Ability to operate and maintain various gardening tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications in horticulture or landscaping (preferred but not required).
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
