We are seeking an IT Asset Manager for a 12-month contract (Inside IR35) with a hybrid work arrangement in Manchester or Blackpool.
About the Role:
You will join a dedicated team within a major UK government department, focused on delivering essential services to millions of people across the country. As an IT Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our desktop hardware asset management processes and ensuring seamless integration of new services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the existing Desktop Hardware Asset Management team to implement and refine industry-standard asset management processes.
- Expand capacity for end-to-end Desktop Hardware Asset Management.
- Integrate and optimize processes for each new service.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation and reports.
- Work closely with the wider asset management team to support daily operations across multiple service lines.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience with ServiceNow, particularly in asset management.
- Strong background in Desktop Hardware Asset Management.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with large government departments.
- Expertise in hardware asset management processes.
