Key Requirements:
- CPC Certificate: Valid with a refresher course completed in the last two years.
- Transport Manager Experience: Essential.
- Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Desirable: Experience as a driver, offering an understanding of the day-to-day challenges in transport.
Responsibilities:
- Driver Supervision: Ensure driver qualifications, working hours, and licenses comply with regulations.
- Fleet Management: Maintain vehicle registration, service schedules, and safety standards.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Enforce transport regulations and ensure legal standards are met.
- Staff Supervision: Manage shifts, oversee staff, and coordinate training.
- Leadership: Lead the team, addressing performance and disciplinary matters as needed.
- Workflow Coordination: Organize schedules, assign tasks, and maintain smooth operations.
- Customer Support: Resolve client issues promptly and professionally.
- Financial Support: Work with the finance team on budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
