Our client, a leading organisation in the Transportation sector, is currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team in London on an initial 6 month contract.
As Procurement Manager will be responsible and tasked with developing the procurement strategy to deal with maintenance and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a procurement strategy for civils maintenance and built environment projects
- Leading the procurement process from strategy to activity execution
- Completing tender documentation and advancing the procurement process to its conclusion
- Managing pre-contract procurement, including areas such as lifts, escalators, and built environment systems
- Delivering procurement for civils frameworks and structures maintenance
- Progressing tenders through stages, managing clarifications, and handling evaluation and award processes
Key Requirements:
- Experience in procurement within the public sector and transportation sector
- Knowledge of procurement strategies for construction and civil assets
- Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts
- Strong understanding of civils maintenance and built environment requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex tender processes and procurement documentation
