Join our client, one of the leading grocery retailers in the United Kingdom TODAY! We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time Warehouse Operative in Waltham Point, EN9 3BZ!
**If you are travelling by public transport, PLEASE make sure that you can get to the warehouse**
Your pay rate as a Warehouse Operative:
- Basic rate: £12.48 per hour - POTENTIAL EARNING OF £468 PER WEEK plus overtime
- Premium night rate from 6PM to 6AM additional £1.79 per hour.
- 30 minute break will be paid
After 6 weeks:
- Basic rate £13.73 per hour
- Premium night rate from 6PM to 6AM additional £1.79 per hour.
- 50 minute break will be paid
Overtime reconciled over a 4-weekly period; threshold 169 hours in a month's period. Whatever is on top of those hours gets paid at £18.48 per hour (£19.87 per hour for night shifts). There is potential of up to 2hrs of overtime available each day!
Typical hours as a full time Warehouse Operative:
- We have a variety of shifts available: 6am - 2pm, 8am - 16pm, 10am - 18pm, 14pm - 22pm, 22pm - 6am
- You will be on a rota for any 5 days per week and expected to work 37.5hrs per week (flexibility will be required)
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Order Picking for a leading grocery retailer using MHE equipment
- Prior to employment, successful candidates must pass a drug & alcohol test
- Ensure all operational manuals and safe systems of work are followed to achieve an accident-free operation
- To reconcile products with documentation and to load/unload vehicles
- Where a company uniform and personal protective equipment have been issued, they must be always worn when on duty
- This is a physical job so you must enjoy work of a physical nature such as lifting
