HRGO Recruitment are looking for a Trainee Planner to join an expanding manufacturing business in Southport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Post Graduate or a Planning Administrator looking for the next step in their career.
Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Salary: £27,000-£28,000 per annum
As a Planner you will:
- Utilise planning systems to convert sales forecasts into achievable production and material plans and schedules
- Manage risks within the plan and amend orders to achieve customer service and stock targets
- Continually liaise with sales, production, supply chain, quality and finance to develop the best strategy
- Lead, coordinate, evaluate, challenge and review the sales operations and inventory planning process for the business
- Propose and implement continuous improvements in own areas
Skills required:
- Experience and understanding of planning process
- Knowledge and experience of working a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Computer Literacy including experience of ERP systems
