The firm specialises in providing comprehensive legal services, and currently seeking a qualified and experienced Divorce & Finance Solicitor to join their team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience and a proven track record in handling Divorce and Financial Remedy matters. They will possess strong advocacy skills, with experience in both Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings. Additionally, they will demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, with expertise in the practice and procedure related to Divorce and Financial Remedy matters, as well as in-depth knowledge of cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, and TOLATA claims.

- Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE
- Hours: Monday to Friday with no weekend work

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in divorce and financial remedy matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to cases.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court pleadings.
- Collaborate with the legal team to achieve personal and team goals and objectives.
- Utilise advocacy skills to represent clients at Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal procedures.
- Provide excellent client service, maintaining clear communication and addressing client concerns.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of legal practice.
Role Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in using the HMCTS portal, Microsoft Word, Excel, Case Management systems, and MSTeams.
- Administrative Skills: Ability to be self-sufficient in typing and time recording, reflecting strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and filings.
- Team Collaboration: Willingness to be an active part of a team, working collaboratively to achieve both personal and team goals and objectives.
- Advocacy Experience: Previous advocacy experience is essential, with a willingness to conduct advocacy at Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings.
