Our client, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Finance - Property Sector to join their fast paced organisation. This is a pivotal senior leadership role working for a large organisation in a highly complex and regulated business. Providing financial guidance and support to key stakeholders across the business from Board, Directors and Senior Managers and Group functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Head of Finance - Property Sector, you will be:
- Ensuring senior business managers actively manage financial performance in order to minimise risk and increase the success and operational efficiencies to deliver objectives.
- Providing clear guidance, and advice on financial management ensuring compliance to legislation and good practice in order to deliver financial performance.
- Reporting and preparing information for the Executive, Directors and other key stakeholders, to support decision making and business planning.
- Ensuring accurate management and statutory accounting information is recorded, maintained and reported to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and robust decision making.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Managing the finance function to include performance management, recruitment and development of quality people ensuring your teams are appropriately skilled and qualified to meet business needs.
- Managing and contributing to projects and change programmes in support of the company's values and objectives.
WHAT YOU NEED
To be considered for the role of Head of Finance - Property Sector, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar Senior Head of/Senior Finance Manager role within Built Environment preferably Housing or Property in a complex organisation
- Must be fully ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience of implementing process efficiencies, managing change and business transformation experience
- Proven experience of undertaking statutory and management accounting
- Commercial and current, with a growth mindset. Used to an agile environment,
- Some experience of managing acquisitions and business integration
- Motivational leader with experience of managing people through change
- Analytical approach with advanced knowledge of Excel. Must be able to work strategically but also be happy to get into the detail
- Proven experience of working with Board, Committee, Senior Managers and Directors with Group experience
