The Production Operative is responsible for assisting in the production processes within a biomass facility. This role includes handling raw materials, operating machinery, monitoring production lines, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:

Load and unload biomass materials, ensuring proper storage and handling to prevent contamination and ensure quality.

Transport materials to and from production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

Machine Operation:

Operate and monitor various production machinery, including conveyors, crushers, pelletizers, and packaging equipment.

Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and product quality.

Production Monitoring:

Observe production processes to ensure continuous operation and identify any issues or irregularities.

Record production data, including output levels, machine performance, and material usage.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.

Report any quality issues to supervisors and take corrective actions as directed.

Maintenance and Housekeeping:

Qualifications:
