Operations Administrator

Premier Work Support are working on behalf of their client in the Basildon area who are looking for a permanent Operations Administrator.

Responsibilities include:

  • Booking and handling European Groupage and express consignments, Invoicing for the department in a timely manner.
  • Negotiating with suppliers for competitive prices.
  • Daily management of the Road Freight daily profit spreadsheet.
  • Liaise with accounts department with any sales/cost queries.
  • Assisting the department in development of the department and Company as a whole.
  • Liaising with our overseas / UK agents.
  • Customer Service - using email and telephone calls as required.
  • Updating customer portals in a timely manner.
  • Working with the Management, Sales team & Directors to maximize the profits for both department and Company as a whole.

Working Hours:

  • 09.00 - 17.30 depending on needs of business you may be required to work over these hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 1 hour lunch
