We are recruiting a Machine Operator who is interested in training to become CNC Operator for our client based in Gloucester, to work full time Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, 07:30-16:00. This is a temp to permanent position for the right candidate.
Job description:
You will receive full training on how to set up and operate a 3 axis CNC door machine. This position includes manual handling, loading, unloading, using hand tools and assembling doors into sets. This role includes heavy lifting and working as part of a team, manufacturing fire doors.
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience in production/manufacturing.
- Must be physically fit and happy with heavy lifting.
- Experience in CNC operating would be beneficial but isn't essential.
- We are looking for a candidate who is willing to commit to training and looking for a career in manufacturing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good time management and reliability.
Further information:
- Pay: £13.00 to £14.00per hour.
- Hours: 07:30-16:00 (With 30 minutes unpaid lunch break).
