Compliance Manager

The Compliance function ensures that our client meets regulatory requirements across all countries of operation. Given the client's growth rate, worldwide distribution model, potential regulatory changes, and flat hierarchy, this role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a global Compliance function. The successful candidate will regularly interact with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business.

Some of the key tasks may include:

  • Drive all aspects of the Compliance function with key framework roles and activities, focusing on one or more of the following key topics: Complaints Handling and supporting the Conduct Risk framework, Delegated Underwriting approvals, Data Protection, and Financial Crime framework duties.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and update compliance policies and procedures.
  • Participate in product oversight and governance work.
  • Develop compliance management information.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in developing and overseeing the assurance process.
  • Embrace the client's values and help drive their strategic objectives.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Proven experience in a Compliance function for a regulated insurance entity.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships internally and externally.
  • Inquisitive with a passion for learning and a keen interest in developing a career in Compliance.
  • Analytical mindset and robust attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions, yet also a team player who enjoys collaborating on a variety of initiatives.
  • Comfortable with the latest technology.
