They are a leading manufacturer for 10+ years and are now looking for a Business Development Executive who is looking to further their career and help with the continuous growth of the company.

Your day-to-day duties will be based new business where you will create new opportunities for the company to increase their clientele, so to begin with this role will be 100% new business which will change over time as each customer will become part of a portfolio. In addition to this, your role includes dealing with new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services prospection, negotiation and commercial follow up of UK customers and branching out further afield acting in the markets targeted by the organisation.
Furthermore, you will play an active part in the development of the sales budget, monitor revenue and margins, promote the image of the company and you will continue with the improvement of the initiatives of the company.
They are looking to recruit the successful candidate immediately; however, you must have or hold:
- Ideally, they are looking for someone who has around 1-3 years+ in a Business Development, area sales, sales manager, key account manager type role.
- You must have a good understanding of the UK packaging market.
- You must be happy developing new business opportunities and building on your successes within the corrugated industry.
- Must be comfortable working from home, on the road and in the office.
- A sense of business relationships and customer service.
- High interest in the technical dimension of the products.
- You do not have to come from a packaging background, but it is desirable.
