Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities on site.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in asbestos removal operations.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Manage site documentation and ensure all records are up to date.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials used on site.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in budget management and cost control measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on office fit-outs, asbestos removal, or domestic insurance claims.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid CSCS card is desirable.
