Supply Chain Planning Manager

A global support services business require a Supply Chain Planning Manager. Applicants need senior supply chain planning expertise, management experience and comfort leading supply chain analysis and ERP activities.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for all supply chain planning and analysis activities. Owning the demand planning and S&OP process, the Supply Chain Planning Manager will lead a small team and collaborate closely with IT colleagues in regards to; ERP, systems and analytical activities.

An exciting end-to-end supply chain planning role, focused on demand planning and S&OP but also with oversight across materials and production planning. The Supply Chain Planning Manager will also have opportunity to support process improvement and business improvement projects within the supply chain sphere, including the upcoming ERP implementation project.

Specific duties of the Supply Chain Planning Manager include:

  • People management and leadership; management/development of a small team and deputizing for line manager
  • Ownership of the S&OP process
  • Design, execute and work to continuously improve the demand planning process
  • Ownership of data held within MRP including product setup
  • Support to production planning activities
  • Supply Chain Analysis work - drive automation, repeating analysis and utilisation of BI tools.
  • Lead process improvement projects for the supply chain - including ERP implementation

Supply Chain Planning Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in a supply chain leadership role; Planning Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, Demand Planning Manager etc.
  • Deep knowledge of demand planning processes, tools and software
  • Strong analytical skills - BI tools, automation, MS Excel, MRP/ERP etc.
  • Gravitas, leadership skills and the ability to bring a broad commercial/business view to the role
  • Educated to Degree Level
