Contract Details: Permanent, full-time position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and professional claims service to clients and internal customers.
  • Administer and negotiate claims settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain good relationships with insurers and suppliers.
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and insurers on claims procedures and queries.
  • Coordinate the appointment of loss adjusters and solicitors.
  • Adhere to claims service standards for timely handling and processing of claims.
  • Provide accurate advice on policy coverage and the claims process.
  • Maintain accurate records and files in accordance with Claims Procedures.
  • Keep abreast of market developments and industry best practises.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous property claims experience within the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of general insurance fundamentals and legal principles.
  • Familiarity with claims reporting procedures.
