Job title: Job Booker / Job Scheduling Administrator

Location: Nottingham

Hybrid: you will initially need to be on site full time for the first few weeks or so to get trained and up-to-speed with the role, but following that there is the flexibility to work 3 days a week WFH, and minimum 2 days a week in the office.

Working Hours: 39 hours a week, Monday-Friday

Contract length: 6 months initially, + likely extensions (possibility for perm in future)

Rate: £12 per hour PAYE

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Job Booker / Administrator on behalf of a global leader in the Energy sector.

About the Role:

Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Job Booker / Job Scheduling Administrator to join a brand new team working on a key 5-year client contract. This role is primarily focused on job scheduling and logistical coordination. You will be responsible for managing work flow requests and trackers, providing job particulars to engineers, arranging permits, and proactively solving scheduling challenges. While job scheduling experience, or experience in telecoms is preferred, we will also consider recent graduates with a strong administrative background.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow requests and trackers to schedule engineer appointments.
  • Communicate job specifics to engineers via email.
  • Arrange necessary permits and licences.
  • Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the client

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (basic Excel skills are sufficient, further training provided)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
  • Experience in the engineering or telecoms industry (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience scheduling appointments (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
