Are you an experienced support worker looking for a new opportunity? Are you passionate about making a difference in the community? If so, BRC are recruiting for floating tenancy support worker to join an amazing team in Monmouthshire.

This charity organization is committed to ending homelessness and provides essential support to young people age 16-25. Your role will involve supporting individuals in the community to prevent tenancy breakdown and prevent homelessness.

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Assessing the needs of individuals accessing the service to ensure that the correct support is in place.
  • Ensuring that safeguarding measures are in place and carrying out risk assessments.
  • Providing tailored support to each individual.
  • Offering informed housing and benefits support.
  • Leasing with external services where necessary to prevent tenancy breakdown, such as social services and police.
  • Ensuring that case notes are kept up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with service users.
  • Working in collaboration with a wider support team.
  • Encouraging the establishment of a community support network.

To excel in this role, prior experience working with vulnerable individuals is required. It is vital that you demonstrate strong knowledge of the housing sector and your ability to provide informed support. The right candidate for this position will be flexible and hardworking, able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure that they are provided with the highest level of support.
