As an Associate Building Physics Consultant, you will:
- Provide high-quality technical and strategic advice across a range of building physics services, including Bioclimate Design, Building Performance Optimization, CFD Modelling, Daylight, Sunlight & Overshadowing, Microclimate Analysis, and more.
- Collaborate with design teams on innovative, high-profile projects.
- Prepare detailed reports for clients.
- Actively contribute to the growth of the Building Physics team.
- Manage key client accounts, fostering long-term, constructive relationships.
Ideal Principal candidates will have:
- Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry (surveying, sustainability consultancy, architecture, planning, M&E).
- A minimum of 10 years in a client-facing role.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SketchUp, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
- Experience with IES, Design Builder, and Radiance/Ladybug tools.
- Expertise in CFD modelling and simulation.
- Knowledge of GLA planning requirements.
- Experience in operational energy modelling (TM54, etc.).
- Experience with overheating/daylight assessments and thermal bridging.
- Proficiency in IES Apache HVAC for detailed energy modelling.
