Travel Partnership Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Travel Partnership Manager to join an established Travel firm in Central London. You will have experience and a strong network within the Travel sector.
You will be responsible for leading and developing new client onboarding, client engagement and client retention strategies. You will line manager the team responsible for coordinating client engagement and recruitment activities, to attract new travel clients to the business and maximise retention.
The Role:
- Lead, develop and operationalize company strategies in respect of new client onboarding, engagement and retention
- Act as an ambassador of the company, representing the organization at internal and external events in the UK and overseas.
- Help to maintain industry events calendar, and lead the coordination of client attendance at external events and conferences
- Attend and present at regional events across the UK
- Build and maintain positive relationships with industry representatives
- Anticipate and proactively plan for key client engagement and recruitment activities throughout the year
- Plan and manage the budget of the team
- Line management of the team, completing regular 121's and identifying opportunities for development
- Manage HR related matters – absences, performance management etc.
- Often involving speaking.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company in trade media
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience in the travel sector
- Experience of developing and successfully delivering strategic initiatives with impactful business results
- Strong leadership skills – able to lead, motivate and develop others, with a passion for service excellence
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Resilient character with emotional intelligence and a tactful, considered, professional approach to dealing with stakeholders and colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with people at all levels
- Excellent public-speaking and presentation skills
- Strong IT skills (Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CRM)
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
