Job Title: Financial Services Administrator

Location: Preston

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (pro rata)

Reed Financial Services are delighted to represent a firm of professional Chartered Independent Financial Advisors seeking a Financial Services Administrator to provide essential support to the business and Advisors. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals and are adept at managing administrative tasks in a financial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Advisor on all aspects of their day-to-day work with clients
  • Be involved in the processing of client business and interacting with product providers
  • Prepare for client meetings and assist the Advisor with post-client review meeting reports
  • Manage diary and schedule appointments
  • Meet and greet clients and visitors, and handle telephone calls professionally
  • Open, scan, and distribute mail
  • Maintain and update client records, back-office systems, and shared folders
  • Prepare and send mandates, monitor receipt of information, and prepare checklists as required
  • Conduct verification checks (AML & Financial Sanctions) and complete enhanced due diligence when necessary
  • Assist in the drafting of Suitability Reports for clients
  • Provide new business support and generate fee invoices
  • Undertake additional tasks as required by the company

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience in an Administration role within Financial Services is advantageous
  • Some knowledge of financial products, industry regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
