Applications Engineer Required!
Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of high-precision grinding and polishing equipment, particularly for the diamond tooling industry. Due to ongoing success, they are looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team.
(Applications Engineer) - Position Overview
- Work on multi-axis CNC grinding machines.
- Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with R&D, production, customer support, sales and more.
- Providing technical support and expertise to customers and the sales team.
- Understand customer requirements and alter machines accordingly.
- Servicing & installing machines and troubleshooting.
- Assessments on machine maintenance
- Collaborate with design engineers to improve design efficiency.
- Creating various documents including manuals and troubleshooting procedures
- Training internal teams and customers on machine programming
- Travel to customer sites (UK + International)

(Applications Engineer) - Position Requirements
- Proficient in CNC Programming
- Excellent communication
- Willingness to travel worldwide.
- Reliable, and able to manage own workload.
- Degree/HND or relevant qualification in engineering (advantageous)
- German speaking (advantageous)
(Applications Engineer) - Position Remuneration
- £45,000 - £50,000 salary (DOE)
- Monday - Friday (although some weekend work may be required)
- Internation travel with paid expenses + additional pay for overnight stays.
