Location - Northfleet, Kent

Salary - £40,000 to £43,000 per annum, DOE

We have an amazing opportunity for a National Accounts Executive to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full-time, 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities for the role of National Account Executive

  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage daily relationships with key business functions and smaller integral customer accounts, while supporting the development of existing customer relationships.
  • Compliance and Knowledge: Ensure company compliance across key metrics for specific customer accounts and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the relevant customer's supply chain functions and product data.
  • Sales Growth and Forecasting: Support and deliver projected product sales, volume growth, and promotional activities, while driving accuracy in monthly sales forecasts and year-end re-forecasts.
  • Operational Efficiency and Order Fulfillment: Take responsibility for order fulfilment, ensuring accurate and timely information delivery, and work closely with customer supply chain departments to align operations.
  • Performance Reviews and Reporting: Conduct periodic performance reviews, customer scorecard reviews, and quarterly internal performance reviews, while maintaining and updating annual account plans and internal systems.

Skills and Experience for the role of National Account Executive

  • Must drive and have own transport
  • Must be willing to occasionally travel to offsite locations (including other companies or customers' off-site meeting locations)
  • At least 1 years' worth of experience in a similar role would be highly useful
  • Experience working with retailers is essential for this role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment essential to the role
  • Strong commercial understanding and excellent analytical skills are essential
  • Creative and strategic thinking is required for the role
  • Strong negotiation and influencing will be required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel are highly desirable for this role
  • Ideally will have experience in accounting systems
  • The ability to represent the company strongly both internally and externally
