BRC are working with a local authority who are looking for someone to join their gas team and assist with multi-trades in tenant's homes
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with the gas team who are carrying out new boiler installations to tenant's homes – you will be assisting them with various muti-trade roles such as tiling, painting and plastering, during and after new boilers have been installed to ensure a clean finish to these works
- Where new pipes are being accessed, you will be responsible for breaking up concrete to access pipes or run new ones through to properties
- You will be working as part of a team including gas engineers, plumbers and other contractors so it is vital to work as a team to ensure the smooth delivery of works and ensuring they are completed to a high standard
- Liaise with residents when required to update them regarding works being carried out and to manage any concerns or complaints
Job Requirements
- Full Driving Licence
- Previous experience within a trade background
- Knowledge/training for the use of abrasive wheels and working at heights would be ideal
