The company is a leading provider of site investigation services based in Stockport, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Control / Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Invoicing:

Generate and manage sales invoices accurately and efficiently.

Ensure timely and accurate billing to clients.

Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any invoicing discrepancies.
- Credit Management:

Monitor and manage customer credit limits.

Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients.

Implement credit control policies to minimize risk and overdue payments.
- Debt Collection:

Chase outstanding payments and maintain a healthy cash flow.

Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues.

Collaborate with other departments to address billing and collection concerns.
- Reporting:

Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding payments.

Provide management with insights into credit control performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Control Manager or similar role.
- Knowledge of credit control principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
