SEN Teacher Assistant
Location: Mid Kent
Hours: 08:30 am - 15:30 pm
Placement: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Pay rate: £85-95 per day
Reed Education are recruiting for Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant's to start in September. Therefore, they are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children and wanting to start their career within the education sector.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Supporting high medical and SEN needs
- Personal Care: Assisting the children with their personal needs.
- Social and emotional support: Assisting the children with their needs.
- 1-1 support: They help children who need extra support to complete tasks.
- Behaviour Management: supporting the teachers in managing class behaviour and supervise group activities.
- Administrative Tasks: They may also carry out administrative duties and help with outings and sports events.
- Supporting SEN: Supporting children with a range of SEN i.e. ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia etc.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Must be happy to pay £38 for an enhanced DBS if you do not have one on the update service.
- Passionate about working in the education sector.
- A minimum of one qualification obtained from school/college or a course.
- You must have right to work in the UK- we do not offer sponsorship.
- Must have a calm, patient, resilient and caring nature.
