CMA are currently working with a growing retail business based in Segensworth, Hampshire, to help them recruit a newly created Purchase Ledger Supervisor. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who can assist with driving process efficiencies across the business. Supporting a small team, you will be seeking to optimise capabilities across this area of finance and working closely with Senior Management to aid informed decision making.
What will the Accounts Payable Supervisor role involve?
- Improving the payables process to ensure that suppliers are paid accurately and within payment terms
- Motivating, coaching and appraising the Accounts Payable team
- Providing an excellent service to suppliers and to internal functions, including resolving queries by phone and email
- Managing the weekly payment cycle
- Overseeing supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring that discrepancies are actioned promptly
- Assisting with financial projects including a system upgrade and implementation.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Payable Supervisor vacancy:
- Comprehensive understanding of how to promote a successful Accounts Payable function
- Sound knowledge of the impact of Accounts Payable on financial reporting
