Eximius Group are recruiting on behalf of an award winning UK IT service provider that is expanding their MSP team. They require an experienced 3rd line support engineer to work in their existing team working with UK customers. This role requires on call one week in four and it can be fairly busy, you can however work full time from home if not required at a customer site.
You will need deep knowledge in supporting the below technologies;
- MS O365 (and older versions)
- VMWare
- Fortinet (Firewalls in general)
- VoIP/WAN
- SharePoint
- BGP
The hirer already has 1st and 2nd line engineers, as do the end customers, so the queries that come to you will be proper 3rd line and varied. You'll be able to escalate to solutions architects or vendor partners if required. You must be able to show that you work with rigour and due diligence in handling all tickets. This role will give you the chance to cross train into new technologies that you probably haven't supported before so there is plenty of scope to learn.
