Working with the Head of Brand and Communications, you will support our growing business by planning, executing and monitoring various marketing strategies and campaigns. You will play a crucial role in coordinating marketing activities, conducting market research, and assisting with content creation to help promote our brand.

This role offers the opportunity to join the company at an early stage, with an exciting range of marketing activities taking place to drive customer engagement and business growth.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Help create engaging content for Energy Park's website, social media, newsletters and blogs.
  • Support with Marketing projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Assist in managing the company's social media accounts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
  • Provide event support, assist in organising and promoting company events, conferences and trade shows and other marketing-related activities.
  • Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for events.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools. Compile data to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on key metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, reports and documents, and maintaining marketing calendars.
  • Manage the inventory of promotional materials and supplies.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with external providers and stakeholders as needed.

Experience/qualifications required:

  • Experience in a similar marketing role, offering proactive support to a Marketing team and contributing to a wide variety of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an unwavering attention to detail. Able to produce high-quality content that engages customers and encourages brand awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g. Canva) is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams as needed.
  • Flexible, willing to get stuck in and help where needed.
