We are hiring a Teaching Assistant to work in an inspiring co-educational prep school in Tunbridge Wells. This role will suit a Teaching Assistant whose personality effortlessly blends into the school's ethos of providing a friendly, supportive, secure environment where children are encouraged to make the most of every day.
No two days are the same as a Teaching Assistant as you spend time in the classroom supporting the Class Teacher deliver high quality lessons in stimulating indoor and outdoor learning spaces.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- To work with groups of children and take responsibility for their learning
- Motivate and encourage children to achieve and develop
- To record progress of children through formal and informal assessment
- To work with the SENCo and other teachers to develop and implement SEN provision
- Supervise pupils around the school
- Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
Essential qualities for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or desire to gain qualification
- Experience in a primary education setting (employed or voluntary)
- Ability to work in a thriving, fast-paced educational environment
- Can-do attitude and a team player
- To behave professionally and confidentially
- A sense of humour!
Desirable qualities for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Foundation degree in Education and/or Level 4 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- First Aid trained
- Experience in independent schools
- Any other relevant training

Location- Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Pay- £20,140- £21,126 depending on experience
Hours- 8am-3.34pm Monday-Friday
Year- EYFS- KS2
