We are seeking an electrically biased Electrical Engineer with basic mechanical skills to join our team. If you have strong industrial/commercial experience and have worked in a variety of premises, including industrial sites, factories, offices, retail, restaurants, or leisure centres, we want to hear from you. This role involves working with electrical motors, pumps, air-conditioning, HVAC systems, control systems, inverters, and carrying out electrical installations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Service and maintain electrical motors, pumps, air-conditioning, HVAC systems, and control systems.
  • Perform electrical installations and work with inverters.
  • Ensure adherence to customer procedures, such as entry/exit from premises, and comply with all Health and Safety policies.
  • Provide reactive support and be willing to work overtime to meet the 24/365 cover requirements of our customers.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and on time, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work without close supervision.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong industrial electrical background.
  • Ideally 18th Edition qualified.
  • Experience with three-phase electrical systems.
  • Understanding of Electrical Controls, Inverters, and Starters.
  • A full valid UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience working with motors and pumps.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards.
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • A genuine interest in engineering and technology solutions.
