We are delighted to have partnered with a global manufacturing company based in Ely to recruit an Office Administrator. In this role you will provide comprehensive support and manage a range of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Hybrid working available (3:2)

Duties & Responsibilities of the Office Administrator:

  • Assist in coordinating, booking, and managing travel arrangements and accommodation.
  • Organising and preparation for meetings including coordinating necessary documentation, presentations, refreshments, lunches etc.
  • Support the Business Support Administrator with the roll out of (Investor in People) IIP related activities.
  • Provide timely reminders for important deadlines and co-ordination of documentation e.g., the annual business plan slides.
  • Support with the planning and co-ordination of annual events such as the Christmas and Summer Parties.
  • Organise company celebrations - budget busting celebrations etc. and organise employee gifts - Birthday, Easter, Christmas etc.
  • Support with company charity events.
  • Support with local networking opportunities - reaching out to local schools, colleges, and charities.
  • Supporting with HR related activities for example, new starter inductions.
  • Undertaking of routine administrative duties including printing, photocopying, scanning and filing etc

What you will need to succeed as Office Administrator:

  • Previous administration / event planning experience, ideally supporting a team of people
  • Would suit someone from a retail or hospitability background or someone looking to get into events planning
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Sound IT skills with expertise in PowerPoint.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Confident co-ordinating international travel arrangements.
  • Ability to prioritise your work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible attitude with the ability to make decisions when required.
