Infrastructure Engineer - VMWare Specialist (SC Cleared)
Location: Northampton | 1 Month On-Site Moving to Fully Remote Thereafter
Rate: £600 Per Day | Outside IR35
Clearance: SC Clearance Preferred
Opportunity to join a client of ours into a MOD environment. The client is recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the design, setup and deployment of VMWare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage VMWare environments to meet business requirements.
- Set up and deploy VMWare infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Configure virtual machines, including installing and managing operating systems and applications.
- Perform hypervisor setup and configuration.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and implement necessary updates.
Essential Skills:
- Windows Server
- VMWare and related technologies
- Hypervisor setup and configuration
- Virtual machine configuration, OS Installation and Application deployment
Preferred Skills:
- PowerShell
- AWS
- Azure
