Advanced Oncology Physiotherapist (Outpatients)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Are you an Advanced Oncology Physiotherapist excited to develop and joining our Outpatient team based in one of the exceptional Provate Sector Hospitals in Central London? Currently rated outstanding by the CQC.

As an Advanced Oncology Physiotherapist you will have the skill and experience to manage an Oncology outpatient caseload, whilst supporting the Physiotherapy Lead with service development initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for a full Oncology outpatient caseload, providing high quality physiotherapy care to patients.
  • Provide comprehensive initial and ongoing individualised assessment for each patient.
  • Facilitate strong compassionate and meaningful relationships with Patients and families.
  • Plan and implement treatment working to the highest standard to facilitate evidence based practice in line with local and national guidelines for Oncology services.
  • Contribute to the management of the department including auditing, implementation of clinical governance Standards.
  • Lead on service development initiatives.
  • Work as an effective team member of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams and to participate in relevant MDT meetings
  • Actively develop strong communication lines and relationships with our Oncology and Haematology consultants.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

  • Essential: Physiotherapy Degree Qualification.
  • Essential: HCPC registration.
  • Essential: Relevant Post Graduate Training in Oncology.
  • Desirable: Outpatient Experience.
  • Desirable: Relevant post graduate training in Lymphoedema For the right candidate, The Hospital Group will support the upskilling and development through professional Lymphoedema training
  • Desirable: Teaching/Training experience.
