Full-time - 37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Compliance Officer to join our Health and Safety team to support the manager in upholding tight safeguarding responsibilities for all internal and external stakeholders and to assist in the delivery and performance of Saffron's Health and Safety strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Record and collate data in 4 compliance areas, asbestos, fire, legionella, and estate management.
  • Help to manage, organise and document a structured program of health & safety training throughout the organisation.
  • Assist in a full program of documented health and safety audits, inspections, and checks.
  • Assist the Health & Safety Manager with the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and systems of work.
  • Undertake a program of CPD to keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation, and communicate relevant changes to the business (as directed or through the Health & Safety Manager).

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Possess BOHS - P405 Asbestos Management in Buildings (desirable).
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organised and methodical with the ability to solve problems and analyse situations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of proven accuracy are essential.
  • Able to work as part of a team and also work independently.
  • Possess good IT skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Full, current, valid driving licence.
