Job Title: Apprentice Administrator (Recruitment)

Responsible to: Manager/Director

Salary: £17,888.00+ DOE

Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm - Monday - Friday

ESS Employment Limited is a family company established in 1985. ESS have local 2 branches in Yate and Nailsworth and cover temporary and permanent vacancies in warehouse, production, engineering and office sectors.

Job Summary:

  • Study a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
  • Uphold the professional image of the Company at all times
  • Assisting with the general administration and day to day duties
  • Answering the telephone and covering the reception area
  • To provide support to the Manager/ Director as and when required

Main Duties:

  • Reception - first point of contact - telephone and face to face
  • General Administration
  • Filing and scanning of documentation
  • Setting up and amending job vacancies
  • Keeping office and kitchen area tidy

Phase 1 - Prime Duties and Responsibilities (FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED):

  • Meet and greet candidates and clients as first point of contact
  • Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Making outgoing calls to confirm interviews, appointments, etc
  • Keeping offices and kitchen area tidy
  • Assisting with the registration of candidates, checking employer references and RTW (Right to Work) documentation.
  • Printing of company literature and marketing material, updating Advertising Boards
  • General office administration: stationery levels, filing, checking post, etc
  • Setting up, amending and closing various job vacancies on a variety of websites.
  • Responding to applications from candidates.
  • Assisting the payroll department with requests for information
  • Assisting the consultants to compile candidate curriculum vitae's
  • Assist with Open Days, Jobs Fairs and other promotional activities
  • Promote E.S.S. Employment to clients and candidates in a professional manner at all times

Phase 2 - Further Training (FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED):

  • Making up weekly temporary staffing planners/rotas
  • Resourcing of temporary and permanent candidates for ESS Employment vacancies
  • Assisting with the expansion of the worker database
  • Sales development
  • New starter information
  • Support (Holiday/Sickness/Absence cover) to other branch/offices as and when required

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSE's including English and Mathematics
  • 2 "A" Levels or equivalent
