Private Client Legal Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Legal Secretary to join a highly reputable private client team. The role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients. The successful candidate will be confident, proactive, and have proven experience in all aspects of Private Client Law.
Day to day of the role:
- Manage diaries and schedule appointments for the principal.
- Onboard new clients, including carrying out relevant checks.
- Handle the opening, closing, and archiving of client files.
- Perform audio typing and dictation tasks.
- Produce legal documents, including wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
- Undertake general secretarial and administrative duties.
- Answer telephone calls and liaise with clients and third parties.
- Manage financial matters, such as requesting funds, preparing estate accounts, and completing posting slips for payments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong academic record.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Previous experience within the legal profession, particularly in Private Client Law.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
