Governance, Risk and Regulation Consultant - Affordable Housing Consultancy

Role Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our market leading Affordable Housing team within governance, risk and regulation. This role is part of a dynamic and growing team who are responsible for advising affordable housing providers on financial viability, regulatory compliance, and good governance within a mission-driven sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage multiple client projects across financial governance, risk, and regulation.
  • Analyse data, identify key themes, and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Facilitate discussions with senior staff to validate findings and recommendations.
  • Produce accurate and high quality reports and advise clients on outcomes and implications.
  • Develop client relationships, contribute to business growth, and adapt services to evolving regulations.

Key Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate diverse information sources and reach conclusions.
  • Knowledge of UK affordable housing, financial governance, and risk management practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver quality outputs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Team Overview

This role is in our Governance, Risk and Regulation team, providing consultancy to the affordable housing sector on governance, regulation, risk, and strategic growth. You'll work in a supportive environment, contributing to major projects while developing your career. Our 20-person team is part of the largest and most experienced affordable housing advisory business in the UK, that delivers valuation, treasury, property surveying and development services to affordable housing providers.
